Why won’t Brits pick vegetables for £30 an hour?

My own crops, but would be happy to work for someone else but too busy. Always amuses me when some kid on a Fendt thinks he higher up the pecking order than me.

    Hang on...

Farage has got a new bogey man, its not just the EU, Foreigners & Boris he hates. Land owners are sitting on too much wealth & stopping Brexit been the wonderful sucess it should be. I think Farage is really one of THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL, a genetic clone of Adolph Hitler

Or we could have allowed Sirius to dig up fossilised guanco from millions of years. But we don't do stuff like that here. YET.

    Vegetable packaging

Wish I had 3,000 empty boxes like those for 30 p each. French caulie will have to be mega money this year. My crop running three weeks early, so may have to buy at Xmas, YIKES.

Not often I get a day at it, but about 50 nets a day in December. It would be a lot more on early maincrops ie now.

    Straw

Agreed but may be less pigs & lifestyle animals?

    Straw

Going one way, I would think now that harvest is 99.9999% over. I suppose the power stations will be burning extra, farmers stock piling in case it is short next year. etc.

    Shooting Foxhounds.

I don't like fox hunting on horse back because they are a nuisance, I feel differently about the beagles on foot who hunt the moors. But regarding the dogs, they are pack animals, who love their lives & jobs, they are now too slow, so bang. Horrible activity though.

    Shooting Foxhounds.

Shoot all the fox hounds for me, if they want. Its breeding more of the effing things, which is the bigger problem.

    Vegetable packaging

Yes mostly imported from late November to mid May. I think by now some will have been used, many times. Real shortage of boxes though, can usually get them
