    I will second that one, I have Dunlop purofort myself at present - not glamorous but warm, good grip too. I wear them with the tops turned down which are ideal for a longer working day, & no flapping at the top... Nice and tight in winter once turned down...

    I bought a pair of Dunlop Puroforts only last year, must say likewise, Never had cold feet, great grip, I wear them with the tops turned down, find them trendy and damn good to wear. They are one of a very few brands of wellies around nowadays that you can turn down the tops to your requirement....

    I have a pair of dunlop purofort wellies on the go - I never cut off low down, but turn down the tops for the summer always... more comfortable that way :)

    Yes, indeed you are not wrong in saying fishermen wear their wellies with the tops turned down. Anytime I take a ferry crossing to a Island off West Cork here in Ireland, I nearly always wear my wellies turned down.
