I just about managed to get a stale seedbed in after some early combined Claire, was some of the last WB to be drilled too. Not really an option on most if it. Will stick to the plough for that one, helps with brome control too.
Think I will stick to normal drilling for cereals for the time being, might be interesting to try a bit though. Wheat volunteer's in barley a concern. Would try some first wheat after rape with a full set though.
Looks a tidy rig, do you go straight into stubble with it?
What row spacing does that give you?
I have always liked the look of aqueel rollers, I guess its not a necessity to roll after drilling with that on the back?
I'm thinking the same to be honest but no harm in trying, been talking to Wox Agri this afternoon, discussing guttler rollers. he has changed some of those discs of a curved leg subsoiler for guttlers, going to see what happened to them.
Yes its the new vaddy thing, ordered by my predecessor...
Thanks Alistair, MDT looks quite useful. Wouldn't mind finding something second hand, don't want to spend a fortune.

just need to find some suitable wavy discs!
I had seen that actually, I think if I was going to go to the hassle of having true coulters I would have them behind the packer.
it looks to create a lot of disturbance which I think the trio could do too
I'm thinking about trying to create a lower disturbance rape drill from our Sumo Trio.
Its one with the removable disc unit, my idea is to remove the discs and copy the frame of the disc unit.
In the new frame I would like to make some sort of strip till arrangement behind each leg, so as to...
