My bet would be the slip clutch, only give it 1 pump of grease per season, if it’s been greased strip it down and wash out with brake cleaner, for a new one or repair kit ring Steve Thorley or Andrew Scott

I meant the driver’s hours that can’t be charged for washing windows ,filling with fuel ,hitching up machine's.

Go to a GT 170 m there’s plenty around, you will regret buying a GZ after owning a Variant we did , if main web is slipping check the web tensioner the pivot pins will rust solid so even with full tension on the springs it won’t tension the web, hope this helps
