    On NAAC contracting costs all in mow, rake, harvest (3 trailers) and clamp its £191/hectare. 3 cuts £573 12 ton DM/ hectare that’s £47.75/ ton contracting cost. Add on an extra trailer or 2 depending on distance to dairy call it £50/ton. Worth £120-£150 per ton DM depending on quality. So...

    We have a 50 teat feeder but by weaning you don’t really want more than 38 on it otherwise they don’t fit comfortable to get them all on and drinking quick enough before the milk has gone. Depends how your feeding them though.

    4x4x8 not HD krone mostly 550-660 depending on size of swath and moisture to an extent. If the full 8ft I’d say 580-590 is closest.
