we had an old sambron 2WD masted rough terrain forklift and that had a MF 35 skid unit I believe. Good old bus until the rear axle snapped off...... don't think it ever posed for the camera but I'll have a look. Did MF have an interest in Sambron?

thanks for a great thread @76masseyman and @trebornella . They were the best years for MF , I don't know what the new ones are like now but then they were generally pretty simple and anyone handy with spanners could fix them. The twins at work.

Ha, it is pretty rare for covers to have survived. It has been in UK from new. The hoses are for heater, it did have an air con kit as well. My favourite era for Massey, I will post a few more. A particular favourite was my 3125.

    Ragwort

We had a bad spell with ragwort on a new site once the soil was disturbed. We dug it up, you have to get every bit of root or it grows again. Best after a heavy rain. I read that each plant can produce 150,000 seeds so no wonder it’s prolific. I point sprayed with glyphosate at rosette stage...

    In Government news this morning

The elephant in the room that no politicians want to deal with , is that our tiny island is polluted and dying because the population level is so out of control. When I was at school the population was 52 million I recall, now its 70 odd? I cannot see how me growing more wild flowers or trees...

    FETF grant authorisation

I understand I probably got the short straw and was picked for more checks. Odd how the drill was approved and then when it comes to payment they start querying the spec. The whole subject of grants is a tricky one. I was a commercial sawmiller for 35 years, we built two new sawmills from...

    FETF grant authorisation

it is not a speedy payment. My claim forms for payment went in 6 or 7 weeks ago for 3m direct drill and I had an acknowledgement e mail. After a month there was problem with bank statement business details print out. Then a fortnight later a request for proof that the drill could drill through a...
