35 cows been out all winter. Sacrifice part of field and reckon saved a fair whack in straw this winter. No shed space either. Just gotta not look to hard on the wet days but they are enjoying the good ones.

Think it's just for ease of management tbh. Some cows will certainly wean early and some later but hard to tell what's going on when bigger groups. What age do yours usually wean at/how far before calving?
