Just thinking about getting them to make me a new drill and maybe get a p/harrow from them too.
They do the option of being able to use the drill on its own, not just on the back of a p/harrow.
Most drilling options would be covered by that set-up wouldn't they...

After the worst drilling period we can remember for years - is it time to seriously consider broadcasting crops instead of drilling them?
It was common practise on this farm a generation ago - with very good results.

Just having a look last a few websites.
Some have 4mm sides, 5mm bottom
Others 3mm sides, 4mm bottom.
Surely the thicker the better.
Interestingly though, the Marshall, that gets a lot of stick about quality, has the thicker stuff!
Has anybody on here done there BASIS course to enable them to do their own agronomy!?
Surely it makes sense for a least one person on the farm to do it - we understand our own farms better than any agronomist.
Isn't it also in most agronomists interests to get us to spray more?!

What really surprises me is how everybody recommends a different trailer.
Thought there might be one that would be a more popular choice.
I'll just get some prices and go from there I suppose.
