Not sure if this should be in machinery or cropping? After the worst drilling period we can remember for years - is it time to seriously consider broadcasting crops instead of drilling them? It was common practise on this farm a generation ago - with very good results. I saw a few...

Just having a look last a few websites. Some have 4mm sides, 5mm bottom Others 3mm sides, 4mm bottom. Surely the thicker the better. Interestingly though, the Marshall, that gets a lot of stick about quality, has the thicker stuff!

Has anybody on here done there BASIS course to enable them to do their own agronomy!? Surely it makes sense for a least one person on the farm to do it - we understand our own farms better than any agronomist. Isn't it also in most agronomists interests to get us to spray more?! Even...

As little as possible, on something very basic! Will only be used for grain carting on a 300 acre ring fenced farm - don't need anything flash.

I've heard they suffer from poor paint - is that really an issue if it's kept undercover?! What issues do they have?!
