Keeping tree roots out of land drains

Non perforated pipe in the area. start and end well away from the trees to ensure no roots get in. if twinwall then use non perforated and fit the rubber seals to the collars too. have also wrapped pipe with terram in a few layers which seems to slow it down too.

Horsch seed motor - anyone changed it before?

Yes it all depends on the configuration of the drill. I used to sell them so know them fairly well 😉

16ft tri axle flat bed , cage sides . Ifor , nugent or others

The light units are ok. It’s the connectors and cable runs that cause the problems.

Have one at work. 21ft long and 8ft wide. Tri axle tilt bead. Very flexible trailer along its length when driving on rough roads and electrics cause enough hassle that I’m going to re wire it this winter. very rough ride when empty as any tri axle but great when loaded.

Putting electric fence cable under a road.

Afraid I am no longer in that job. Best people to ask are utilities teams installing fibre broadband ducting.

Is E10 petrol safe to use?

Run e10 in 4 chainsaws ranging from 30cc to 90cc. 2 hedge trimmers and a leaf blower. No problem at all. Problems seem to occur when people use cheap 2 stroke oil or leave the fuel in cans for too long.

    Macdon v Convio

macdon flexes in three sections much like a sprayer boom vs the convo where the knife can flex anywhere along its length. ie the convo knife can flex over contours Along the working width rather than just pivoting wings.

    Macdon v Convio

No more expensive to run than any other header that has a flexible knife. they will all have more durable knife sections due to the bending of the knife. also, they will all put more pressure on the skid units as that is how they allow for full ground contour following. same with anything, it...
