I had this problem with a Perkins engine it would only start on jump leads and replacing the solenoid on fuel pump fixed it.

Ordered the Bovella and a separate Lepto Vacation. Hope to get them done this week as vet recommended minimum 3 weeks before bull and ideally 6 weeks

I had some problems getting a matbro with Perkins started without jump leads, tried different battery etc but would only turn over not fire without a tractor on jump leads. Tried lots of things and turned out to be a faulty plunger on the fuel pump.

I remember my parents lost hogs on barley stubble when i was a kid. From memory it was alcohol poisoning from eating full heads of barley that had been lying on the ground

@cotswoldcs yea i have one here and could pick up another for a lot less than a bin. Also would save augers etc
