Hi all,
I have been trying to calculate my forward speeds for seed rate setting. 1996 7840 SL with the dual power switch but the standard H box and 3 ranges. Haven’t found anything online for my gearbox to give me an idea of speed. They have a two range dual power option and the 8 speed shifter...
Ha yes I lost the little buggers under it all.
it is but it never has anything put back into it, I suffer with weeds and want to keep it sustainable if I’m taking hay every year. Wanted to spread some poop this year but don’t have a spreader
West Leicester,
access is tight so I only tend to get my little tractors in. I have a PH and moisture probe, was going to test it after it rains this week and see. Got plenty of thistles and buttercups so I assumed the soil was in poor state.
Hi all,
My grassland has never been treated in my lifetime, I’m wanting to give it a lift as I do attempt to take hay from it. How much lime should I give it? It’s around 4 acres and has had the odd sheep on it but mostly 4 pigs who have rotorvated it for me.
can I spread with a spinner in...
Nope I don’t have any kit at the mo so I’m buying in fresh, the guys at Gribben said it should be euro 8 so il buy in euro 8 kit.
I assume that’s the most common now I hear?
Thanks all, got a Q540 from Gribben off a 7840 so should all work, anyone advise on what headstock it’s got? I was told euro but someone else said there are different euro heads?
need to get some attachments and want the right brackets.
So I settled for the Q540 from Gribben, great bunch. can anyone tell me what type of headstock is on it? I think euro but a friend said there are different types of euro?
are they compatible with euro 8 brackets?
Yeah a polish company I think, imported from a chap in Ireland, Karl Campbell. £6000 is a cheaper loader but comes with soft ride, self levelling and euro headstock apparently.
Just been offered a Trimma 540 from Gribben tractors £2900 plus VAT for a 7840, or a new Intertech IT 1600 for £6000 with new brackets etc.
The latter comes with soft ride etc.
