After some drizzle this morning it's sunny and dry. Second field just being drilled.

Big Difference here in the forecast for today. Met Office said rain most of the day. Weatherdotnet's Garry Nicholson said less then 1mm. Thankfully we went with Garry's forecast which was spot on and drilled 24 acres peas/barley. At last a start.

I was told that all this wet weather was down to the moon. 'If there are two full moons in June it will rain for twelve months'

Grown it for over ten years. Suits our land and system. Usually plant around second week of April - won't happen this year.

One day it will dry up. Nature usually tries to put things right but often is a bit later than we would like. My guess is that we've got three more weeks of this.

What would they have returned if sold d/w this week?

Some plants have dropped cattle price for next week?

Waitrose have legs of British Lamb on offer at app £22. Half legs at £9.75.

I seldom have a coffee at a motorway service station. Instead I go into the Waitrose or M&S shop and buy some proper milk which costs around 90p. Much nicer than the coffee on offer.
