    In lamb Suffolks

I think Skipton and J36 have reasonable club sales, otherwise you can chase the dream and go to the 3 nations or dark diamonds at Carlisle!

Aberfield SR over Lleyn ewes - Mature body weight

I used an aberfield sr as a spare, I normally run lleyn x highlanders. Sorting the ewes yesterday I would say size wise there is very little difference (mostly 2t some 4t) they do stand out though with a bit of BFL style about them!

Beef / Lamb & Pig Price Tracker

Sedgemoor calf report was useful when it was top price and average for each breed, less helpful now it's top price and other!

    £200000 Suffolk

It will be disappointing if they do.... a lot of buyers like the extra conformation a good high index british suffolk can bring to the mix!

    £200000 Suffolk

I hadn't heard easyrams were buying?? I really wanted to go but the timing wasn't good for me to go that far!

    £200000 Suffolk

While the Circus at Lanark will get all the headlines this week there was also a dispersal at Sandyknowe where 230 genuine breeders averaged £720 (ish) I would imagine going to genuine breeders.

    Lamb cocci advice

Mine were on a new block of land and were dropping dead before they took on any kind of block or creep (about 3 weeks) haven't been brave enough to change policy yet!

    Lamb cocci advice

I use baycox at about a month here (when they first meet a challenge) that seems to give them the resistance they need. Used to use DB buckets but they didn't build any resistance so had major problems whenever I stopped them.
