I tend to agree with you but I'm probably in denial as I'm not looking forward to removing the hydraulic top. The strange thing is I've got a heavy grader blade on the hitch and although it drops like a stone it still sounds like it's stopping against something hydraulic rather than mechanical...
Everything looks OK as far as the physical linkage goes. I've cracked the pipe on the external ram but that hasn't had an effect.
I've delved deeper and removed the control unit and found that it has water and corrosion inside so is not working at all. I now believe that the additional rocker...
My display is damaged so doesn't light up at all. I can buy a new display from my local electronics shop so I will try to replace it although that will probably only confirm that the lift control unit is faulty as none of the controls in your picture work.the only thing that works is the...
The linkage was dropping fully but while I was grading the lower limit lessened over 2 or 3 drops of the blade. The upper limit seems unchanged.
I'm stuffing to find a new control panel so my next move is to remove the old one and solder in a new 7 segment display so I can hopefully...
When the arms reach their bottom limit they are definitely stopping against hydraulic pressure rather than something mechanical. The additional rocker switch connects to the wiring look using a proper connector and the mudguard have just been unplugged.
On closer inspection it appears that the cable going to the switch on the rear fender has been rerouted to a switch next to the large linkage control dial. I believe that the linkage control module is faulty but I can't calibrate or test it as the error screen is dead. I am trying to find a used...
That dial doesn't work. It's function has been replaced by a simple rocker switch. I believe I will have to replace the hydraulic control module to get that working again
I have a CX85 and was using the grade blade today when the lift arms stopped going to their lowest position. They drop quickly but stop about three quarters of the way down. A bit hard to grade the driveway when the blade won't touch the ground :(
I bought this tractor second hand and it has a...
