Just wondering if anyone can help...put energiser (leisure battery powered) onto fence (2strand polywire), light pulses but both strands dead. When I put the tester on the fence clip alone it gives maximum output, but back onto the fence nothing again. Swapped energisers and working fine so...

My farm is 260 acres plus this 50 odd acres.

I'm paying the going rate round here for the 40 acres...they claim the sub, I obviously maintain the fences, also spray thistles, fertiliser and cut the hedges. This land is only suitable for grazing, you'd never mow it. I used to give £1000 for the 14 acres, when it wasn't grazed/ruined over...

I honestly don't think they're bothered...they have no concept of grass management. After the mess of last year I said I'd roll it and spray it but not pay any rent...the reply was no they'd rather have the money! When I said I'd probably have to reconsider whether I wanted the field any more...

Looks similar to the lamb in your photo @HappyShep76, but the legs are completely straight from the hip, no bend at the hock. @Longlowdog its a cracking lamb, always the same! Thought he was sorted after the initial swollen front leg, and can't believe how quickly this happened.

Had a pure Beltex lamb last week with joint ill in front right leg...treated with Betamox and Metacam, couldn't catch it yesterday was nearly 100% sound. This morning found it flat out on its side, unable to get up. Tried to stand it up but it's back legs can't take any weight, then just go...
