    Found the cause. Sadly to engage low range speeds. Someone hasn't engaged the lever fully. Stripping the teeth from the brass gear inside the head

    Hydraulic filter. Has it got a Hydraulic pump mounted on the ring gear? Left hand side of the engine?

    Just tool post and 4 jaw chuck. Used to work for a machine shop and have plenty tooling that I've gathered up over the years. Yeah it will run for abouts 5 mins then starts slowing down and locks up..... switch it off then back on, and it will run again for 5 minutes. I'm thinking clutch but...

    Recently purchased these. Starrite band saw. Will cut 600mm x 450mm. And the lathe needs looked at slight issue with it. £500 for the saw and £125 for the lathe

    Find an older generator with low hours. Stamford or Leroy somer alternator. Either a perkins or fiat engine... I have a F G Wilson here, the Rolls Royce of generators. Perkins 1000 series engine and Stamford alternator
