Liquid fert Advice- Liquisafe and Efficient N28

For cereals I would suggest tank mixing with your T1, T2 & T3 sprays which saves a pass in the field with a tractor. If you aren't spraying / dont want to tank mix / cannot tank mix with your particular chemicals then leave 4 weeks between applications. After 4 weeks you will have used 94% of...

Liquid fert Advice- Liquisafe and Efficient N28

A common observation... After applying granular Nitrogen you will typically see a 'flush' of growth. Grass in particular responds quickly to any granular applied. The 'flush' of growth you see after Ammonium Nitrate, for example, is the plant taking in loads of water to try and dilute the...

    Liquid N advice please

We supply a number of Foliar N products all with very limited availability. April has sold out, May we dont have a price for yet and is almost sold out anyway and I have no idea what June is going to bring. Based on figures I have heard for Foliar N products this year you could be paying...

    Liquid N advice please

I don't know how much 128kgs granular N / ha yielded as they didn't do that quantity of granular N but they did for 247kgs N / ha. Treatments 4, 5 and 6 all had the same total N applied (207kgs) with treatments 4 & 5 receiving 7kgs from E28 and treatment 6 and additional 7kgs N from AN...

    Liquid N advice please

Correct. Only treatments 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 had efficient28. The graph I shared was from AICC trials last year. AICC members will be able to access all their trial data, including methodology. We haven't publicised too much of our 2021 trial data as availability of efficient28 is tight this year...

Liquid fert Advice- Liquisafe and Efficient N28

I doubt there is much info on many of the other foliar N products as they are all pretty new to the market. 3 / 4 years ago Efficie-N-t 28 was probably the only foliar available and in the last 12 months alone there have been at least 5 new products released. A great question re free urea...

Liquid fert Advice- Liquisafe and Efficient N28

150-200 L/Ha is OK, but as always, the more water the better the coverage. Folex mu35 is a different product. Different manufacturing process and contains almost twice the free urea as Efficie-N-t 28 so be careful you don't scorch the grass! E28 is rain fast in 20 minutes, I would imagine Folex...

    Liquid N advice please

Granular applied N is between 40-60% efficient (on a good day). Any nitrates applied through the soil are easily taken in by the plant but remember it is a poison and requires / uses significant energy from the plant to turn NO3 into NH2. This means energy is wasted on turning the Nitrates...

    home'n dry.....again

The odd green grain isn't going to have a negative effect on the end result. Issues with the process can occur if there are lots of green grains but from what you have said you will be fine with which ever treatment you choose. Just DO NOT compact the grains in storage and DO NOT store higher...

    home'n dry.....again

Supplementing bypass protein is a new one to me... The best form of bypass protein is rumen microbes. There Amino Acid profile is as close as make no difference to perfect. Feed the rumen with the right energy / protein balance and the lions share of your bypass protein requirements will be met...

    home'n dry.....again

The bags point is a valid one. You'd have to have a multiple of 5 not to waste a bag with the enzyme and soya separated, however it's the same for home'n'dry. 30-40kgs per tonne doesn't exactly fit with a 25kg bag either? As for the soya, they all contain soya. If H'n'D have an additional...

I'd have to agree with Norvite in this instance. It's why Five F recommend using between 30-40kgs of product per tonne of feed treated compared to everyone else 20kgs. You pay your money you take your choice, if they didn't work they wouldn't be sold.

Annoyingly none of the products mentioned in this thread... although I'm hoping that's good news? PowerGrain is the product I / we manufacture and supply.
