Ultra shallow tillage with straw/stubble rake allowed by my vaderstad carrier with cross cutter discs working to the same working depth achieving the same micro tilth not allowed…. Rake here on flinty ground wears tines in no time and a poses a serious risk of causing a fire in 30’c heats in summer

I can understand the reasoning behind these options and approach to the new schemes but how on earth SFI/CS is financially going to replace BPS to the farmer is completely impossible? This is a quote from the UK parliament website...
