I've found Ruko and Greenlee to be the best. I used to do a lot of M5 & M6 in 3mm stainless plate - definitely needed a decent punch mark to stop the tip from skidding. M3/M4 generally benefited from pre-drilling undersized to reduce the stress on tool.
They're okay for putting a quick hole in thinish material but are somewhat prone to snapping. There's a couple issues, firstly you need a decent speed to whilst drilling, but need to drop down to slow speed before the threads kick in or you run the risk of snapping it in the hole. Then there's...
I bought a similar one a few years ago - it rarely gets used, but has done the job when needed. There's some UK sellers so there shouldn't be an issue with import duty & should be fairly quick delivery.
In terms of operation - there's a bit of a knack to the job particularly if the bead is...

Most modern road schemes will involve separate drainage schemes that include settlement and balancing ponds to help reduce pollution from run off. There's also often a system of penstocks or valves and tanks to handle fuel and chemical spillages on major roads.
Nah, this isn't the bodge thread, besides which... the amount of rust on that lathe is bordering on criminal - the engineers would be sobbing their hearts out!
I know of a local ROW, neither end is near anything or anywhere near any logical route to or from anywhere - only function was for workers getting to other fields. Field has been cultivated for at least the last 25 years with no provision for walkers, who have only ever walked around the field...
Bizarrely I have a couple of online suppliers that will do cash on delivery - not takeaways either. :ROFLMAO:
When I was a kid there was another hardware store in town that was the polar opposite - you always got a warm welcome & they would often round transactions down rather than mess about...
Local hardware shop - 25-20 minute drive, pay for parking, walk to the other side of town, pay well over the odds for stock that's past the expiry date (if it's even in stock), served by someone more interested in gossiping with their colleagues than serving the customer, get huffed at if you...
