Never before have I had reason to complain, normally excellent quality but the sirloin offered was c r a p. Know a lot of lads suppling them but not sure where that came from!!!
Like the idea of 20% off, Morrisons Saturday, fancied a steak, preferably sirloin. When I asked him to cut me 4 I had to stop him, look like it had come off a knacker. Checked the fridge, no better, "well it's not our's, it's bought in"! Decided to try some rump, decent rump but looked as though...
Really enjoying coffee this morning, seen my first swallow of the year and it must have sped onto Carlisle. Something has certainly got them excited, hogs on fire, long may it continue :)
Visited mine Friday, none in branch, depot down the road has unlimited supply. Would not start lambing season without a good supply, base well covered, pens as and when, avoid direct contact with lambs. Variety of products designed for farrowing crates are safe for contact with newborn lambs.
Possibly the lack of grass may have some bearing but were they all fit? A significant increase in numbers does not help prices, will be interesting to see prices tomorrow.
Store lamb sales are starting, why oh why do people insist on putting stores in the fat. Well fed fit lambs weigh and are still selling well. I'm happy with £3/pkg in the middle of July.
The inevitable just takes time!
Market conditions, falling market share, increasing interest rates were never factored in when the bidding war was taking place.
I said at the time Woodheads are doomed! Any executive worth their salary would be rid of any involvement with food production...
Having been involved with industry for longer than I care to remember if I can assist in any way don't hesitate to get in touch. May well be able to help!
