    Do you have much bother with slurry heel when they’re housed ? It would be the source of any feet issue we seem to have with them

    They can be handy with they’re feet alright.. Always found them to be more solid on their feet personally

    A Well bred British friesian or friesian Holstein cross will graze or eat silage just fine. An m+ figure possibly double the pure Holstein if the forage is good.

    I would agree with that, but I think as well there’s good management and there’s hard to manage. It’s not uncommon to hear of replacement rates up on 50%, a quick look on Holstein uk on dams and Grandams of some the cogent bulls and its hard to find a cow that’s done any more than 3 lactations...

    Would anyone agree that the type of cow that being bred on the majority of farms as well requires a lot more attention and management than people are willing to put in?. Now a days it seems common for men to have a nutritionist, foot trimmer, genus coming in to AI etc. Having efficient cows that...
