Tbh, I don't have autosteer, so relie on following a light bar for seedbed N. Splitting means I'll have less chance of misses!!

That would be my only concern. Usually split the dose, seedbed and then tramlines visible. Drilled some yesterday, for one reason and another, won't get fert til Monday. Looking showery so might stick the whole lot on. I suppose it being later drilled, one has a much smaller window to "hope"...

Surely a plant can only use so many units per day. So why the hurry to put it all in seed bed? Could still be split
