We have a simple bracket in each cab done the same way so monitors and the likes can be moved easily, all you need is a short bit of 50mm box and 50mm flat, a nut and bolt.
Slice about 3” of 50mm box along its length so there’s only a narrow strip of it, say 8mm deep, then weld it to the flat...
Stick the pto selector lever into neutral in the cab before you get out and the shaft brake doesn’t hold the stub, atleast it works on the New Holland here anyways. The pto brake is too severe on them though, having to hold a button to release the brake is stupid when trying to stop a high...
For £20 definitely hire the consaw. A 9” grinder with diamond blade can only cut around 3” deep so if your concrete is anything more it makes it a job to get through in layers. The consaw with a 12 or 14” blade will get through around 5” a lot quicker. Keep the water flowing on the blade though...
Hardly cause that much of an issue considering the tiny volume of oil needed to open and close a flat 8 and the fact it’s not likely you’d be doing it every few seconds by the time you drive around from pack to pack in field or trailer to stack in shed
That or a pressure relief valve the type they use on bale splitters for the net/plastic grabber. Would work so once one is closed fully it works the other
Playing devils advocate here but any chance loads were sticking hence the harsh pull off trying to shift it, and the load catching in the back of the trailer caused it to top out the rams unknown to the driver? Happened me a few times but thankfully never in a shed. I’m sure most that have drawn...
I guess this might fit here, jd foot throttle, original was a flat plate bell crank, they updated the crank to one with a bushing welded in but it won’t fit the original pin which is welded into the cab.
die grinder and threaded bar solves it, had to turn down a nut to fit inside the spring...
Have bacho sl25 1/4” set, s330 3/8” and the s400 1/2” set here, bought the 3/8 for €50 and the s400 for €105 and got the 1/4 set for free, I’ve given them all a bit of abuse and the 3/8 ratchet has one tooth a bit iffy on the ratchet slips an odd time if it doesn’t get a chance to seat properly...
Not sure what your base is but drill a few largish holes in it(not big enough for the rods to go through) that way you can give them a final rinse off when in it after they’ve been down a dirty stinky blocked pipe so they aren’t manky the next time you want them
I’m the same, have tried a few things but the main way to speed it up is to block it out, so for me I throw 8 trays out on a table all touching tight, break up a bag of compost by giving it a few slaps across the knee, then dump the bag out on top as a bag will fill the 8, level it off across...
That is torture, wed sometimes get that with tomatoes that are on the heated benches, which are basically a sand bed with a warming cable in the middle to keep a constant temp under the trays.
It’s surprising how tough it can be to get the roots out if they grow through, those trays have about a 1/2” hole in the bottom to pop them out and it’s amazing the hold the roots get
I’ve tried a few things from a little pot thing that you put the seeds into then it has a little triangular spout that should single them out and also a “glasser” seeding tool that you click and it’s supposed to drop out seed but I can’t get on with any of them as they drop to many seeds so I’m...
