I have a Bomford flail mower and the stock whale tail flails will need replacing next year. I recall a few threads on this in the past. Was it Y tails that were deemed the best as all rounders in grass, rushes and an occasional bit of bramble?
Unfortunately my awesome new Team Sprayers Alpha did not have an option for a PPE locker. I am trying to find something that I can attach myself, but not having any luck. Any ideas?
This will have a serious impact on the UK economy. I know that many of you can't see past your own fields and think that bankers are strokers, but this is a real problem for the country as a whole.

So I have a shiny new sprayer, but no idea where to mount the control box. There are two, one for the sprayer and one for the foam marker. I don't have a cab so sticking them onto a window is not feasible. They are very light so I was thinking of somehow mounting them onto the bar holding the...
Any idea who made these? Some Danish bloke? I cannot seem to find any info on this and want to know the weight.

Thoughts / opinions on price?
As per the topic, I am looking to purchase some Facom tools, but the usual suspects, like machinery mart (overpriced usually) and tooled-up, don't offer the entire catalogue.
I have found another place with good prices, but I am not sure if I can trust the site. I have done company checks and...
I have been renting diggers for quite a while, but when you rent you have to focus on the digging. I would prefer to be able to work by my own schedule and there is definitely a good potential of renting it out to the neighbours too.
I usually rent 1.6 tonne machines and based on these...
I want to make sure I am clear on all of these rules... If I am just spraying my own grass using a tractor mounted sprayer do I need the qualification and the sprayer service etc? Same question for a knapsack sprayer. I do not claim anything for the land that we own.
I was servicing my Marshall muck spreader yesterday. I took off the front hood and inside was a big wasp. It looked dead initially, but then I bumped it with a wrench and it moved a little bit and when I knocked it off and it fell on the ground, it started to move around a lot. So I killed it. I...
Long story short, I have been a victim of serious telephone, credit card and debit card fraud. Somebody is definitely stealing my mail from an address in London, which also happens to be the postal address for my company and this is where the DVLA tax reminder would be sent to. I am pretty sure...
I am tired of the manual post knocker and I am seriously thinking of getting one for my tractor (a baby JD 5065E)
But I am quite confused whether my hydraulics will work with a post knocker. Before I start calling dealers and make myself look like a fool, I figured it will be safer to be a...
This was mentioned in FW some time ago and I have been drooling over the videos ever since. My mind tells me that the time savings when swapping equipment would justify the cost. Any experience or comments?

I am not sure if this should be in here, or in machinery, but I am more interested in discussing the art and theory of subsoiling itself, rather than specific machinery, so I figured it should go in here. A couple of questions:
When is the best time to subsoil grassland? (depending on soil...
So far I have managed to win battles against rushes, nettles and bramble trying to grow all over the place in my less than ideal grazing. Now I am starting to notice that in some of the fields the buttercups are getting out of control. We keep horses (Please don't hold that against me. The wife...
