It's down to how quick they run the tower. As of late, Lithan's quality has improved greatly. 36 Meter spread now. Whereas CF are ramping up their production, more production = smaller prill.
I know chaps that would take Lithan over Nitram if it was the same price.
Not disagreeing. However company's who import here in the UK can only do as you do, buy and sell to the best of their abilities.
Maybe folk should think twice about buying 'British' (American) when they can get something made in Lithuania, brought over here and sold to them £15/t less than the...
Actually not wrong - COVID has essentially made millions of people work from home, everyone's at home with the heating on.
Slightly too scare mongery post for myself but the message there isn't wrong.
If you're wanting Nitrogen or NPK or N+S - FEB/MAR/APR - now would be the time to buy with...
Looking at the market, get something bought. Not even off me - go buy it somewhere else but my 100% honest opinion would be to get a good price and get your name on something.
UREA once again has increased, I would be very surprised if we see anymore in the country in the next 3/4 months. CF...
Cheers for the positive feedback I do try 🤠 NPK &AN are both shooting up. If you’re still to buy, now would be good time. Have some prices pre price rise. Not as cheap as a month ago but still not where they’re going to end up in a few weeks time.
Always has an impact, however more going on than just that.
CF have major production issues - no NPK's until March at the very earliest, same with some N+S grades. Import Nitrogen are getting wind of this and increasing their pricing on the back of it.
UREA absolutely flying today -...
Who’s the reliable source? £30 a tonne seems a bit excessive when CF are getting busy & only put prices up £5/t last week. All imports do is follow the CF price to an extent. £30/t from when, Dec to Jan, Or from Dec to April?
Context, no scare mongering please
Yes, the Egyptian manufacturers are up 10$ as of yesterday. There’s not a lot of UREA in circulation so I would think most importers are short.
Also the duty post December, obviously not 100% but could see 6.6% which would equate to around £12-15/t.
£243 from what i’ve heard isn’t a bad...
Looks as if Thomas-Bell have a good price on UREA around £215, unsure how they've got down to the levels they have as all current shippers are quoting circa £225+ (bag/del price) and the market is creeping up today.
