    Kit one used to see

Probably so that when the hydraulics drop you can still carry on and get home.

    Seazed balls

Big hammer! I'd clean up the bits I can get to, then put a bar through and keep smacking it hard with hammers. No.4 copper on the ball itself and a 3 or 4lb long handle one on the bar. The top one might have some joy using a pointy bar as a chisel. Eventually give up, cut them off and get a...

A year to show up 120 year + old drainage systems

They call them Napoleonic drains here, supposedly dug by prisoners of war during the the fight against the French. But I think any small bore clay pipe gets called that, even early 20th century ones! I dug an old ditch out once that a lot of '70s/'80s drains run into (via companion drains 🤬...

    TFF Parkrun Fiends...............

I did a couple of Parkruns in the winter, but 9am on a Saturday isn't working for me while I'm feeding cattle in sheds, so I've been doing some 5+ mile runs in the evenings. It's to keep fitness up for Tug of War, and we've got a load of new team members started who are a bit surprised at the...

    Hydraulic bead breaker.

I've got one like that too (not very often you get a bead as slack as in that video though!) The hydraulic foot pump doubles up on a 20t workshop press too, which helped justify the outlay, and transformed the usability of the press from the old hand pump.

    KTwo gone bust?

Didn't worry me, I stuck with Grasshopper! Still got one here with a nylon brush conditioner on the back that gets occasional use. There's times when it's the right tool for the job.

John Deere 3050s won’t disengage the PTO

I'm pretty sure lack of oil pressure throws the pto out of engagement (and drops the splitter into low), so it sounds more like an internal problem like warped clutch plates as suggested above.

    Latest wellies updates??

I've got Skellerups with all the trimmings (neoprene lined, steel toe caps & sole). They're heavy, and need a lot of effort to get off - if there's no boot jack available I'll leave them on until there is! But they don't slip on wet concrete, they're warm and are really lasting well. Definitely...

    King Charles 3rd

It's a bit of an American expression, with quite selfish implications. Not that I suspect there was any intention of that here, just using a recently popular phrase.

How best to remove stickers on cab windows

Works well on tinwork. I tried it on glass once (headlight diverters for driving in France) and the sticker was less of a pain than the WD-40 residue!

    King Charles 3rd

That or 'Princess Kate', wrong on both words, she's 'Catherine, Princess of Wales'. C not K, and the princess comes after her name unless she's born with the title.
