    I've seen leaf spot, melting out and rust for a goodfew years now ,from high n usage to low, we see it when we get very dry normally,

    We see the rust mostly on the perennial rhy grass nit noticed it much on cocksfoot, , we also see torn clover leaf, its as if it's too thin, dandelion, ribgrass chicory have lovely lush leaves then , leaves me thinking it could be a compaction ,or air movement issue in topsoil

    The melting away only happens on short rest grass, when it lodges, longer rest gives a hardier type of plant , variety doesn't matter much from what I've seen here in the south west,
