A parlour in dorset same size and all the same equipment made 3800 in online sale with gth. Quote of 24000 to take out and reinstall. That didn't include all the new parts required to get it running again.

Was offered 28 acres of grass by a farmer with to much, he wanted 3 pound a bale for the grass. The fields are about 5 miles from me. I worked out cutting Tedding baling hauling then the 3pound made them 18 a bale. Turned it down.

Absolutely right, all my fields close to silage pit. Wouldn't won't a wagon running miles

We use a contractor with forage wagon, 110 an hr. Will average about 7 acres an hour, cheap silaging.

I read in a post of yours sometime ago that danish ear tagged cows don't pay much as culls, do you only get half there cull value. Also would you have anymore for sale this year or next?. Thanks
