Morning all,
I have an nc3000 which got a replacement bottom bearing some time ago. But lately there is a rattle/vibration up at the top around the gearbox. Is there another bearing on the gearbox in these agitators ?
Thanks
Tm120 here with a slight fuel pump tweak pulls 2500 tanker here with slurryquip db. I use 5 spools. No issues pulling maybe on wet hilly ground you have to be a bit cute but when dry no problem at all. Running on 900 tyres but wouldn’t want a smaller tractor tbh
if you are after a new macerator only, these guys make them:

They were mentioned in another thread already.
I have no affiliation with them and haven’t used them but some tank manufacturers are using them
How are you finding the slurryquip for lumpy bales of silage?
I mentioned it on here before but mine does block with a bad lump of silage I know they are only made to handle what passes through the animal but I often wonder is it my hyd pump isn’t spinning the mascerator fast enough
I’m after ordering this welder for farm use and a set of 6013lf welding rods:
https://www.ept-irl.com/products/parweld-xts204-220v-inverter-welder-200amp-mma-wtwtwpw-xts204.html
it was a shot in the dark to be honest as I want to know how to weld
Anyone have one and how are they finding it ?
Mine didn’t come with a manual.
No stickers about psi either (well apart from “check tyre pressure”).
Keep your nuts tight and your dripper lubed is all I honed in on on that big yellow sticker 🤣
Keltec are another new entrant to the slurry tanker market :

Not much info on it yet but was there at the ploughing this year
Anyone see this re the bkts:

Flotations weren’t doing too well according to this owner. Flotations must be a different level completely as bkt tractor tires get excellent praise on this forum
Nh tm classic with an open centre pump. I think it’s only 50 or 60 litres/min pump and no adjustment possible. I’d imagine with a quicker spinning macerator it would have more momentum when it hits a lumpy piece or else I’m ranting and raving😅
Round bales. They are chopped but still the odd lump gets pulled in. Even with bales left a couple of foot from feed passage I fork it into them at feed time but I notice calves are lethal for pulling in silage . I jump in and pick up any lumps if I see them in there. In the videos of...
That’s what I have as well. I often wonder could it be my hydraulics aren’t spinning the macerator fast enough 🤔
I have an open centre pump on the tractor so it’s not the fastest. But 75% of the time I have no bother
