There's something in that perhaps... thinking out-loud and indeed requires more thought, but what about a savings account where the 'cash rich' farmer earns interest on funds deposited, of which is then used to support the 'cash poor' farmer when they need... a swings and roundabouts scenario...

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

Oh. I'm not employed, nor am I pitching anything to gain business. I enjoyed the part of my role in AgChem where I could do things for the better good of you will. I was involved in some sustainability projects which I thoroughly enjoyed as I worked closer with farmers which wasn't the norm. In...

I have indeed checked it out (briefly).... all the talk about big parlours vs small parlours, and well your average size ones, and who's dumping the biggest load (of milk) lately and so on... needless to say I ended up here with you guys/gals who are proving to be an insightful yet funny bunch (y)

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

I can assure you @Doc that this is me. I am of the preference to have a face to a name so I rolled with it. Does my picture deflect, really? My step-dad was a farmer for Sam Williams, Frodsham. That was a long time ago now though. My latest role brought me back to the Ag world, only now i've...

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

No.... I would say that sort of finance would not help farmers as those types of providers would charge high rates. I am thinking of an alternate option to bank overdrafts / Trade Credit, whereby rates are competitive to those offered by banks, flexible and quick to obtain, yet in addition...

Interesting - Any example rates for comparison perhaps?

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

:ROFLMAO: I hadn't though of it like that but now you mention it.... i'm not pitching any idea as such, just trying to find some gaps in the market, identify them and see how I can potentially help to facilitate if possible. In myAgChem role, I got involved in a wide range of marketing...

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

Geeze!! Who was that with? I looked in to providers such as Hitachi, Fram Farmers, UK Ag Finance and Oxbury who all offer 'input finance'. I'm trying to determine if there is a gap in the market for a competitive alternative to a bank overdraft or trade finance that can support farmers with...

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

@lloyd - Thank you. Their products appear somewhat fixed... lacking flexibility for seasonal cash-flow variances for example - i'll look at them some more, good start (y)

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

@Johnnyboxer - I've recently left UPL and now looking for new opportunities but with someone who genuinely wants to help farmers - currently unemployed What's your story? :)

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

No, not commercial. I'm just wanting to find ways to support British Farmers since my younger days were on a farm and would like to see our farms prosper and not disappear like the one I grew up on. I am actually not employed right now...

Input finance to support more efficient cash-flow - Who uses?

Good Morning! After reading some articles on 'input finance' products currently available specifically for farmers, I wondered if anyone on here uses to help spread the cost of AgChem's, fertilisers, new grain stores even? If so, who do you use? and what sort of rates and repayment terms are...
