Hi I'm just trying to get mrtk working on our starfire 6000 and before setting up our own base I want to know it's all working on someone elses. So does anyoke know of a RTK2GO or centipede base which works with johndeere. I've tried connecting to a few of them but the best I get is the orange...
Evening all this is a question the any John Deere mRTK users on this forum: Connecting to rtk2go or a personal base station, it used to be that in the DNS/IP section on the starfire modem page that you had to put in a DNS name which included the phrase "jdmrtk" in it. Is this the case or does a...
Yep since talking I have had it communicating to RTK2GO, however I don't have an option to output RTCM only CMR and Omnistar. So I'm waiting to hear from Trimble for an option (I'm sure they will tell me I need an £££ unlock - in which case I'll do the base as discussed earlier).
Yes so I have all those parts, and the AgGPS is unlocked for RTCM as far as I can tell, how do I get it to send the correction data to a server like RTK2GO?
Well I'm after something as simple as possible to set up, and the upfront cost isn't a huge issue, as long as it's reliable and suitable for commercial use.
Ah ok, yes I was. So that f9p for free sends the correction data to a server or pc (if connected) effectively?
So do I need the f9p and then the NTRIP master board with it?
Right so with the f9p it looks like you have to pay for the corrections after a year? Our Trimble one just does the corrections for free, which is why ideally we would use that for the corrections - it's just a case of getting that to the server.
(If I've understood properly)
