Leave it alone till its dried properly, hit over summer months with a view to establishing a good wheat crop in September. Too many folk chasing and throwing money and horse power at it....just my opinion???
The Ombudsman was really helpful. To be fair I got away with it to a technicality coz they didn't take into account my wish to stay with the current supplier. Otherwise the 'Do it for you' would have stood.
I was far too trusting that Bionic were working on my behalf...they clearly had their...
Hope this isn't a bit premature
The Ombudsman has reported back to me. He has thankfully found in my favour.
Bionic have to apologies to me, offer a good will gesture of £100 and cancel the 'new contract' and confirm that they no longer arrange my electricity renewal.
They can appeal so not...
I would simply like to thank the farmers who have taken time out from their routine to raise the issue we are all facing. Rather than just grumbling amongst ourselves they have had the balls to do do something about raising the issue to the media. Good on 'em (y)
So, Who are you inspecting? and Why?
Are you targeting all regions?
Is it based on farm size, or when a particular problem shows up?
What do you expect of us?
Are you coming in with a heavy hand or are you inspecting with helpful attitude that will encourage any improvements required?
EA don't...
I am a paid up member. I am happy that somebody is trying to support the average farmer.
Have seen more support from he BFU than the NFU on social media. Why are we bickering?
We are all in it together surely.
It is a mine field, a tight rope.... it is so easy to be critical of any attempt to raise awareness of the plight of UK farming.
Surely somebody has to try to do something.
If we all stuck together and had bigger balls like our European counterparts we might get some action.
I am protesting in my own way, by not sowing over 100 ac of winter or spring cereals, honestly can't see it is worth the effort. for the return!
Potentially 300t less produced. It won't effect prices one iota on my scale but if every body did it, who knows??
Also, I would be happy to drive down...
I have rent to pay but figure it'll be it'll be a lesser of two evils if the drought effects late drilled ww or spring barley that nobody wants....as i say I'm just going with my instinct...no doubt I'll get it wrong again :banghead:
Haha, already have a collection of Benny hats.
I do have old crop still to sell though...(if price ever picks up)...cos I totally cocked up marketing this time too:X3:
No, totally fallow in the hope of clean ground come September. Will be sprayed off and hopefully seed bed prepared for early drilling.
I do have a bit of wheat in that looks well so far.
Some peas and potatoes to go in.
Have just finished ploughing to get rid of combine wheelings on the bodied...
I am having a fallow year and sowing wall to wall 1st wheat in Sept. Totally had enough this season.
Probably getting it all wrong again but going with gut feeling???:spitoutdummy:
