I associate Gaelic with some of the wildest parts of Western & North Western Scotland (scenery & weatherwise) which is something that draws visitors to that specific area, A Gaelic liveried fire engine putting out a motorway car fire at Kinross or a Police van arresting Junkies in Dundee...

I have no issue with Gaelic being properly spelled on the signs in the areas where Gaelic is spoken, i.e West, North West, North & Islands, just seems ludicrous to be replacing signs on the rural bits of the East Coast where there is limited Gaelic Speakers unless this is part of the SNP's...
