Suckler herd, spring born (april and may) sold as suckled calfs around November. How much creep and type would you recommend per calf and from when, will the initial cost always pay back when sold.

Which is more profitable per acre of permanent grass land on a hill farm? I know there is a huge number of variables and factors and perhaps it should be loss rather than profit per acre!

These appear to be quite allot cheaper than other manufacturers, is there that much difference in quality? Considering buying a new 7.5 cube rota spreader, probably do less than 20 loads a year so would want one that will last few years.
