    JD 6920 transmission calibration

I've tried a few times since, no go. I called a new guy, hopefully he'll come up with the solution. He did mention it sounded like it was something internal, so might end up being the clutch valve. Thanks for the help. I'll post when I get it sorted

    JD 6920 transmission calibration

No nothing like that, no creep when the shuttle is off, it operates pretty much as normal. If I start off without using the clutch the takeoff is much smoother. Even if I use the clutch taking off in c1 or d1, it's very jumpy but it's bearable. The real prob is inching in on loader implements or...

    JD 6920 transmission calibration

The mech changed the fwd/rev pack, it consisted of 3 thin friction plates and two plates around 6mm thick. He also changed 2 valves, but I'd be lying if I told you I knew what they were. The friction plates that came out were almost completely stripped of their coating so I presume there would...

    JD 6920 transmission calibration

Ive tried again a couple of times, and I see now that tCAL must stand for trans calibration, and that what's actually happening is that the jerking forward is causing the SPD fault and instantly taking me out of the calibration. Is there anyway to eliminate or minimize that jerking,?

    JD 6920 transmission calibration

This is what comes up, but I've also noticed now that the tractor jerks forward and SPD flashes for a second, is there any way to prevent this

Great, I'll give it a try again tomorrow so, I'll set the revs on the digital clock before I enter the calibration. Appreciate the quick reply.

    JD 6920 transmission calibration

I have a 6320 and recently got for/rev packs replaced. My mech usually gets a younger mech friend to do electronic bits for him, but he proved unreliable so I decided to give it a go myself. I followed Phil p instructions for calibration to the letter, I got to put tractor in "for", then...
