We have couple shetty and they are friendly not feral at all chase you like a dog. Yes it does matter if they are decent sheep as have plan to breed them next year.

Very informative and detailed answer. I don't shear them friend of ours who has bigger flock does for us. Fine fleeces and prime beef is not my concern I don't need them to make money. Just need something who are hardy, friendly and easy going. You think pure Herdwicks or Shetlands are better...

I know these Masham x mule lambs cute but just don't know what to breed with them if I get them. Or shall I get pure breed Herdwicks or Shetland?
