They have returned back to me again !!!!

I see you wrote....... Some fields get hammered and some are ignored. What are peoples thoughts about the affect this has on yield ??

Pigeons have eased off a bit in the last 2-3 days. I don't know where they've gone, but i'm sure they'll be back. Is there less about this year??

Are you still inundated with pigeons , quattro, or have they eased off a bit?

It seems they come out of the wood in the morning (just as it gets light) then have a feed, then bu**er off for the rest of the day till dusk, then come back in for another feed before bedtime. How i stop this,I dont know??? Where do they go mid-day ??

Thanks for all the replies folks. I too am involved in the CSFB larvae trial. I've never seen larvae in the stems before until this spring, when it was REALLY bad. There was both CSFB and winter stem weevil larvae present. What i did notice was ........ where the pigeons were bad ,so were...

I had very same problem as you, i found it in the end!!!! it was as simple as a rubber washer in the cap of the fuel tank was not letting air in. SERIOUSLY throw it away and you will be sorted

As cricketandcrops and farmer fin both said .........w/v is FAR simpler

Liquid is a FAR better bet this year.
