This has always been of interest to me, lots of Ransomes literature has pictures of the different shares but I would love to see a page or two on Ransomes thoughts on the subject. Always carry a knife and some sticks in the toolbox.

I don't think there is an answer to your problem, I can't understand why if you reverse on the trailer you want to turn it around when you get home. Hitching the plough across the back of the tractor seems a lot more hassle than just moving the tractor back a bit when you go out in the morning...
