I also think there is another element too. Most people make decisions based upon emotion....and then justify it with logic. We do what we WANT to do, and then explain why we did what we did. On the basis that emotion does play a significant role, people want to feel safe, secure, content...

.....and they are wanting 70% IIRC? I think changing the rules may not have helped them in achieving their aims. Seems crazy to be disuading people from entering the scheme when they are only about a quarter of the way towards their own targets.

Laughably the local weather forecasters yesterday were claiming there might be no more rain for the rest of the month! 🙄😂 They can’t even forecast a few days ahead….and April is well known for unexpected showers that appear out of nowhere.

I think it’s a pretty clear conclusion to draw that anyone who has put more than 25% in won’t be able to do the same at the end of their three year agreement. I fully agree with all of the points you have made though - it’s like Goldilocks and the three bears, first not enough, then too much, etc.
