20 years ago as a 30 something women I lived in a remote farmhouse alone with my two sons then aged 5 & 7 years. I was woken at 3am when the security lights were triggered, I looked out of the bedroom window to see a man approaching the garages. Unfortunately I hit the panic button on the...
I think I am one of the lucky ones, I haven't read in depth about depression but in my case I think it was and will be a one off case rather than something I have hanging over me and may strike again. It was our first year running our own business and I really thought we were going to loose...
I disagree, when I needed help my doctor was wonderful but sadly a friend didn't get the same support from his doctor and slipped through the net - it is the luck of the draw!
Did you see the new series on Friday night 'Land of Hope & Glory' based on Country Life magazine. It included excellent coverage of a Somerset Dairy Farmer who has been closed down for 4 years. It showed how TB was effecting the family run farm on a daily basis, unfortunately this series was...

It is a really interesting subject and I would be really interested to hear if your milk yield does respond. What you need for dark periods is a red light as cows cannot see red but it gives enough light for the herdsmen.
LEDs have improved enormously over the last 18 months. We supply 2700K which is a very warm light, 3000-3200K which is close to what most people are use to, 4000K-5000K which is natural/daylight white and then 6000-7000K which I think you are referring to which is cool white and can tend to be...
