I don't think the government is overly worried about who gets the money, so long as it gets out into the economy. Since it's taxable anyone who gets it but there business is still performing will pay half of it back in tax (depending on tax rates).

Definately Rbs bounce back. I am certainly within the limit, so shouldn't be anything to worry about. Would I be correct in saying the interest relief in Bps loan scheme we have in Scotland is in this category.
The rbs form asks the amount "under this state aid scheme" . Not sure what goes in that box (bps, and bps loan scheme spring to mind) but know the total balance is less than the £88900 limit.
I have a flexible overdraft facility and initial plan was just to reduce the amount borrowed on that.
If (or rather when?) that is comfortably in the black most loans allow you to make an overpayment, or by that time might need to invest. If you have it you have flexibility.
