To be fair @steveR isn't it a more right wing position not to redistribute wealth as benefits? It's a valid point, why subsidise busted business models unless there's some public good coming from it?
I don't agree with a lot of what the Welsh Gov are trying to implement, and believe that they...
NHS Wales: we were restricted to five or seven elements to test. There were at least two egg options, probably three (yolk/white/combined) iirc. Because there were several severe allergens at play, our consultant got us to perform an external touch skin test on a sensitive area that could be...
Sorry, I thought you were joking, it sounded like a parody of the Daily Mail. My mistake.
The 'government' haven't secured our borders for various reasons, which is quite ironic itself really. I believe that pretty much anything SPS related that's imported to the UK from a third country via the...
Is that seed and hay, or seed hay?
To be frank, we have plenty of meadow, I just need to make a bailing press soon.
We have goats, ducks, and chickens at the moment, and it's how much we focus on duck meat Vs broilers. With the price of feed (at least buying 20/25kg sacks of organic growers) the...

Sorry for being a duffer in advance.
We'd like a polytunnel, 20x60ft. The intended site isn't curtilage. It's connected to what's previously been used for organic horticultural purposes, and has been advanced glastir until recently. We currently don't trade, but intend to in the future.
Do we...
On the bright side, there is a remote possibility that these emissions, that should be easy to cap, mean that we've overestimated the overall warming effect.
Two things that you may not be considering:
Firstly, barriers to trade to suit larger businesses that effect the smaller ones disproportionately.
Secondly, adverse 'externalities', which large specialised concerns create.
Aren't there dual rules in France depending on the size of a farm?
Personally, I think that any farm with an intensive pig or poultry operation, for example, should be classed as industrial, not farm.
