That's the reason it's the tractor I'm after, we need an additional tractor for occasional use and feel like a 6290 would be something that should hold it's value rather than being a depreciating asset
Have a Tier 3 6480 which does most of the work, the 6290 will be a full restoration job and only come out on good days.
Saw that 6290 but feel she's just a bit high priced for 11k hours.
I'm on the look out for a genuine Massey Ferguson 6290 at moment.
It must have closed centre hydraulics, at least 3 spools and front suspension.
Hours not a major issue so long as it's tidy and not over priced.
Has anyone got anything suitable?
Thanks in advance
Just got a new to us Pottinger silage wagon on 560/45r22.5 Nokian Country Kings
Wanting to change to a wider wheel due to soft ground
What would my wheels be worth?
8 stud fitment and would guess at 80% tread remaining

We have a 5440 which I feel is much livelier than our neighbours 5465 but the 5465 isn't dyna 4.
Would be a lot lighter than 6465, 5455 in my opinion would be a better purchase. The rear pick up hitch on the 5410-5450 is a horrible set up if you plan to move trailers much
Yeah have used Lotus designs in the past and always found the quality very good. Am I right in thinking they are laminated too where as the genuine ones aren't so will never fade?
Yeah cost on this project has gone out the window. Will be a no expense spared job. Fully gone through...
Currently restoring a 2004 Massey Ferguson 6290.
Have the option of genuine decal kit or the reproduction kits from Lotus Designs in Northern Ireland.
Which would you go for?

You will find the lights on the new Case pumas are middle mounted only and are unable to be side mounted. The output from them actually isn't all that high at 2400 lumens for the unit with the 6 LED chips if I remember right.
The UTV Products LED lights to suit would be the 40w 3600 lumen...
On this topic, when mixing your own concrete what additives can be put in to speed up cure time? Home mixed concrete never cures at the same rate as readymix.
