Just my take on it, I stand to be corrected….I think it’s on points total, on my last grant, I added some low cost items, that were high scores to bump up my overall score. I do wonder if farm size and employees has any impact …..

Score based I think, it’s averaged out, so say you were looking at 1 item at a score of 50 …or looking at two items, one at 50, and one at 71, your score would be 60.5.

I personally would risk not playing by the rules….had a check on a dribble bar through the grant….was here in an hour of the phone call…I was happy enough for visit as everything was in order ….

Watching the dairy cows starting to use the new swing brush I installed…..very wary of it to start with , but could watch them for hours getting to those itchy bits…..I’d nearly set up a cow brush webcam……

Use a vicon wagtail with engine pulled with a quad bike for grass seed, have very even cover .personally think grass seeds are best broadcast

I have Kuhn plough on h4 mouldboard, looking to upgrade to one that has a deeper by 40/50mm and marginally short board, newer plough, is this most likely the L board? Does it have similar characteristics but leave a wider furrow bottom?
