    Hydraulic toplink

    Should a hydraulic toplink with a check valve be able to "float"? I'm assuming it should, but mine won't. Any idea what could be wrong? Mechanic wants to bypass the check valve but I'm not keen. New tractor and new toplink.

    Is there any problem spreading lime in fields which are being grazed by cows and calves? Will they need to be shut out at all? One field getting 3t/ha other 6t/ha.
