We've had them out to see what they were offering - they wanted cows to be grazed but are paying only on litres and butterfat, nothing on protein. I don't know how many suppliers they've actually signed up, last I heard they only had one!

There has been a cap on TB payments in Wales for a long time now. Its nowhere near 6 figures- £4000 for a pedigree and £1800 for a commercial.
