Volunteers on a field with higher than I’d like header losses. We had 32 seeds /m2 shed, planted with wheat 10 days later at 150kg/ha and using Horsch Sprinter (2” Dutch openers) straight into stubble and followed with 0.6 liberator, 3lt glyphosate and 5lt of molasses just before wheat emerged.

Another problem I foresee is you are bound by rules that can change during the agreement. A relatively small change in the detail of an option might have a large impact on a complex SFI rotation which you’ll be bound to. e.g. Planting date or length of time an option should remain in place.
