@Hampton you would be looking somewhere in the region of high teens or low 20s for this I would think, depends on existing control systems, flow meters, nozzle bodies etc. If you would like a more accurate price, drop me a DM with your machine serial number and I'll work something out.
A bit...
@Brisel I understand you have moved in recent months so might not apply to your previous machine, but we are able to retrofit the Raven Hawkeye PWM system. We are just in the process of upgrading some none Chafer machines as well, so not only limited to our yellow machines.
@Bomber101 @Walton2 @Brisel, your kind words are all very much appreciated! Dave does indeed still work for us, although as you can imagine many of us are working from home in varying amounts at the moment. The praise will be passed on, thanks again.
@legin The mounting may vary a bit depending on the manufacturer of the equipment and the nozzles used, but have a look at the images below for how we mount the anvil type nozzles for our Chafer AS120 on a Grimme GL32B. The rear mounting also has a sleeve for a Vydate fishtail.
@cousinjack we updated the original design of the Horstine Cascade in recent years, now available in 24m, ISObus, 4 section, ASC, VRA among other things. Suitable for fertiliser, Avadex, small seed, slug pellets etc. If you'd like some more information please drop me a DM :)
@cows r us we’re in the process of building a smaller version of our Interceptor, 3-3500l and up to 30m booms. I’m terms of tech I don’t think there will be anything in this size range that will touch it!
If you’d like some more info please let either myself or @Chafer Bernie know via DM (y)
One from the Chafer photo archive...the only PPE going on here is a cigarette or two!
Myself our @Chafer Bernie would be happy to talk to you about a Chafer, feel free to DM or give us a call on 01427 838341 if you're interested.
Joe.
Thanks for the heads up @Cambs Farmer :)
@James spudman if you drop your email address across to me via DM, I can organise a copy to be sent over. I think there was some confusion at this end as to what manuals we had, we have located the right one now so we'll be able to get you going.
We mount them on the lights on the inner most end of the boom, so when the independent inclines raise/lower the light beam stays focussed on the nozzle pattern. Obviously this misses the four nozzles in the centre. If there's no nozzle camera we leave it without lighting, but we can add a...
I've done similar in recent years, after a life of mountain biking/bmx etc and scowling at roadies in lycra, I now find myself completely addicted! I think we are doing a Chafer trip to Majorca next year....they must need sprayers too
Most but not all ;)
We started a Guardian off in Carlow earlier this week and this one is about to have it's final PDI before being delivered to the customer in Kildare. So many manufacturers in this market aren't there.
@Robt our view, like yours and many others is similar, lets go and make the best of it as it really could be an asset to the industry. The show had already changed hugely from what it was when we first went to Newark in 2001, with this being the next step if it was to grow into an international...
