Just a comment on the 3 stoves you’ve looked at, go with the Woodwarm they are the best both in quality and and customer service. We’ve been selling their stoves for over 40 years. Their gas stove is one of the only ones that is fully remote controlled.
We got a Jasic, it’s been sent back twice in first 18 months because of problems. It was repaired with out any hesitation. I’d have another, it welds very well.
I used 8mm, it may not be much different in cost to build your own but there’s more satisfaction in building your own than just writing a cheque to some dealer. Well that’s how I justified it.
We changed to Caisley 3 years ago, very few replacement tags with with our suckers and they are very helpful when we do ring up. We won’t be going any where else for tags.
If your looking for the most reliable stoves, that are British then go for Charnwood, Dunsley, Town & Country Fire and Woodwarm. They may look expensive but they are all well made and efficient. The spares will be available in years to come, long after machine mart have stopped selling stoves...
Thanks, we’re going to get it done properly. One of our customers is a blaster and told us we should put a polyurethane top coat so that it lasts my life time.
