Hello all, new here and first post.👋 I'm hoping (and I expect I'm not alone with this) that someone has encountered and solved the problem I'm experiencing. I bought a used 2016 2.5L Isuzu Dmax Blade with 55k on the clock about 6 weeks ago. The issue is the vehicle is doing a DPF regen in perpetual cycles. It runs through the full process and then the dash warning light goes off. From a cold start even when the PM level is zero, within a mile or two the PM level hits maximum and the cycle starts again. About 15 or 20 miles after it's completed (sometimes even less) it starts yet again. I typically don't do short stop start town driving, usually longer. I don't use supermarket fuel, only Shell, BP, Esso etc. I've plugged in the ELM327 ODBC reader during the regen and it reports on faults. The vehicle is still under warranty from a company called 2020warranty who've said I need to take it in to get diagnosed. The garage that checked it said their systems don't find any fault codes either, he said it should go to the Isuzu main dealer as their diagnostics are probably better and there could also be a software update for it. He said the injectors and sensors were all within tolerance. He refused to remove the DPF itself and check it's condition. All that said, what do any experienced forum members here think the root cause of this is and what's the solution? I'm thinking that maybe the main dealers would be able to do a more advanced diagnostic check? thanks
